Bio
We (Steve and Helen) irresponsibly gave up our promising careers in aviation and bookselling over ten years ago. Now books seem to have taken over our lives. We frequent libraries, bookstores, and thrift shops in search of interesting books. We buy/swap/sell, but mainly, we read. We both wear glasses and have been mistaken for librarians.

Does this guy work for Dell? Hilarious post. Good work .
heehee I like the last part especially.
Seen this before a few times and I still laugh!!!!
lol Like odetteroulette, I think the last part is the best.

Seems Monty Pythonish somehow.
Biblio, welcome back, you have been missed! This was really funny. How in the world do you find this stuff?
Monty Python did skits in Norwegian?

LOL.
Procopius, thanks! I have to go catch up on your posts now...
Let me add my own "Welcome Back." I've checked from time to time to see if y'all have returned. Was beginning to get worried.
Thanks everyone, we missed you too. I can't believe how much you all have written in a few weeks. It may take a while to catch up...
Norwegians are funny?
Whodathunk?
I supposed it was all "bloop bloop herring bloop"
This was just what I needed today.
Glad to see you back
How hilarious! I think this is how my nephew sees me when I ask for his help with my cell phone.
Snort, chortle and roll with laughter. Thanks and welcome back.
I've seen this before, but it remains hysterical! You know, I remember reading a book by an MIT prof several years ago--title was something about a computer chip in a shoe?--but somewhere in there he introduced the concept of books as technology, a whole new concept for me. He said they remain superior in some regards--their transportability, for example, and their light weight. Anyway, this reminds me of that concept. Honestly, if the computer had come first, I think this might actually ring true!
Yeah, we can laugh, but I think scrolls WERE easier, actually. And I have no doubt I would have needed tech support; I can barely figure out our new telephone.

Thanks for a good start to the day!
