Favorite Open Salon Content of The Century (so far)
Favorite Open Salon posts of 2009? Too limited a time frame. Favorite OS posts of the Decade? Better, but still too limited. Favorite OS posts and blogs? Almost there.

Join us in the Wayback Machine to revisit The BiblioFiles' Favorite Open Salon Content (Posts and Blogs) of The Century (so far).
Many of our favorite blogs on Open Salon have been abandoned. Here are some that we miss.

Cynthia Blair blogs about hiking the Pacific Coast Trail with her husband, a professional gambler.

cuteboysmakemenervous - an odd and edgy blog with an international twist.

Dina Emerson - life in Las Vegas as lead singer of a Cirque du Soleil show.
Here's one of our favorite OS blogs that is still active.

Monsieur Chariot. The adventures of a 19th century French gentleman in 21st century Los Angeles.
And one that we hope is still active or maybe just on a break.

BkLvr - blogs about the books she reads. She likes mysteries, social history, young adult (is she a teacher?), current events, and more.
And two stand-alone posts that we especially enjoyed.

Martha Nichols on Hayley Mills in The Trouble With Angels. This brought back fond memories and made us look at a favorite movie in a different way.

Procopius's Cold War adventure on the wrong side of the Berlin Wall border crossing. Exciting stuff. (And funny.)
Enough of looking back -- it's on to 2010 and a whole new year of Open Salon.

Thanks for the`pointing.
Applause for a marvelous post that definitely includes a few people I have not yet discovered.
Sincerest thanks, and hope you have a happy and healthy New Year!
I am back, although I'll be posting with less frequency. Real Life - aka 15 credits of school work - is going to take much more of my time than before.
Have a great 2010!
Procopius has a lot of great history posts. He's awesome.
Monsieur is always witty and urbane.
Thanks for pointing me to some new posts. I can't believe I missed Batz!
