Bio
Grew up in Miami as the troubled middle child of the greatest family in the world; now find much comfort being sandwiched between my four fabulous siblings. Went to college in the midwest (Earlham College) where I met and later married my best friend. Played varsity volleyball at EC and started in the NAIA Nationals as a freshman (though had to give it up a year later as it wreaked havoc on my joints). Was a Psych/Soc major, though later discovered my knack for finance while working in Indiana and got my MBA. Worked in the toy business for 6 wild years (Ohio & Minnesota) then via mergers and takeovers ended up outside of Columbus, Ohio. Dragged my dear wife and son around the Midwest with me climbing the corporate ladder before settling down and designing + building our home on 5 acres. Son #2 came along shortly thereafter and has lived here his whole life. Worked my way up to VP Finance for a manufacturing company until "retirement" for health reasons after being with the firm for 15 years. (13 surgeries in 7 years during this last stint, with the scars to prove it -- due to rheumatoid arthritis since age 13) Devoted family man who loves photography, watching my sons play volleyball, and good movies. Only one of my family not living in North Carolina (all migrated there from Florida after my father -- who continues to be my inspiration -- died suddenly at age 53). I miss them all dearly and wish I could see them more often. Love spending quality time with the greatest wife on the planet and two of the best lads anywhere. My body keeps falling apart, but I am cheerfully enjoying the ride!

what?

Oh, bumping the feed!

Paws up (mostly dead).
Just two places over and I could have been next to Marco for posterity. ::sigh::

Thanks for the close up!

(thumbified for letting me see who sitteth at the right hand of Troll)
That's a fine job you've done. I'm cracking up at your tags. Now go take a nap!
I don't recognize alot of these folks! I guess I have a lot of reading to do yet! Maybe OS has already broken up, quite efficiently, into different neighborhoods when I wasn't looking.
great job Steve and to you too DW and ST! Thanks so much to you guys for all your hard work.
A true labor of love (love the tags). Enjoy some r & r!
You guys are simply awesomeriffic!!!!

That is outstanding work. Many many thanks (hey, I get to be kitty-cornered to lpsrocks and Dorinda! :-D).
Hey! I sent y'all a pic and I don't see it there.
Good golly miss molly, I'm next to Roger, yeaaaa! And I'm so glad my bum shoulder is there to hold up Dave's bum ankle. It's impolite not to know your neighbors, so may I ask who's on my left (under Freaky)?

You guys just plain rock! Now go back to sleep.
RickyB - looks like there must have been an e-mail problem and we never got your message. We're really sorry about that . . .

Sally - the person next to you and under Freaky is Tony Wang!
You three rock! Thanks for all your work.
I absolutely love it. So wonderful and I can't wait to get up in the mornings and have coffee from my OS mug and be reading all my OS friends' work. Teehee! Thanks for all the hard work!
Yay yay yay! I'm next to Madame Beloved and CollegeKid! Lucky me!

This is awesome, thanks to all who worked on it!
Serious awesomeness. You guys rawk. :D
I'm pretty sure I am sinking below the masthead. That's what happens when a wave of posts-you-really-really-must-read swamps you!! Thanks for accommodating requests, such as my wish to be near my "kids"--Lissa Stewart and collegekid. I know that kind of thing had to be a pain. Thanks for everything y'all did on this! If there's karma out there, you should have a great Christmas... or something ;)
