The boy done good. And then it went horribly sideways. I was once a relatively bright and fluffy young thing with a heart full of hope and a soul as yet untainted by the stubborn stains of middle-age, it’s inherent disappointments and sickeningly harsh realities. Back then I was too blissfully stupid and naive to realize that one fine day I’d wake up to find that the best years of my life had been frittered away on a roll-call of unsuitable women, vast Nordic lakes of fine alcohol and heroic levels of public hedonism. Such a waste. The plot (such as it once was) has been long-since lost. I quite possibly used the bookmark for a roach. Let’s face it, I’m fucked.
