I'm not even sure how much I have to say about the many posts concerning domestic violence and women's returning to their abusers. So many people have said so much.
Thanks to Stewie 13 for this thoughtful post:

I do know that I feel disappointed that only six days away from International Women's Day, a day we've used for over a hundred years to mark the great strides we've made, we continue to have debates over whose "fault" abuse is, and how when we are victimized we are "asking for it". With one of the media's top celebrity stories chronicling so publicly what is clearly such a personal struggle for one woman, we are reminded that this struggle therefore belongs to all women and the men who care for them.

I've been struggling for days with a way to respond to this inanity of blame that appeared on OS a few days ago. This captures my frustration perfectly. Well done. And hurray to to Stewie 13, too!
