Moving in frustration

The benefit of a readymade audience at Open Salon has been completely eradicated by the terrible platform.

I am tired of wrestling with the Open Salon interface and will be moving my posts elsewhere.  The photo posts will go on my own blog at lewlortonphoto.com/blog and the others will end up somewhere else tbd.

As I move the posts, I will put a redirect in place of the text. Thanks for the reads and comments. I will always be at my own site lewlortonphoto.com and welcome any visits to look at the pictures or read the blog posts.

I hope that enough people leave to shock Salon into doing something to make the situation better.

Why not move your posts and photos to Our Salon? Lorianne created it for us for just this type of situation.

I've got a spot at Our Salon too, but not used much. Planning on doing more there. Also have a blog reserved at Word Press. Ought to get the word out on that. However, this has truly been a fantastic place to meet other writers and readers as well as receiving comments and feedback. Hope they get their act together. No reason why we can't cross post. Best of luck and keep in touch.

I started moving over a year and half ago. I'm happy where I am and now way can I put up with something they promised to fix years ago.

While I like the idea of hanging out with old acquaintances, and probably will for some things, the layout for blogs on Zenfolio is so much nicer and more convenient for my photography and it keeps my blogs near my photos so they can keep warm.
