Viewed from across the pond, the U.S. government seems at best incompetent and at worst a joke. BY ALEX MASSIE | JANUARY 27, 2010

Hey Y’all, 

Well, I do declare: I have always, from my earliest thoughts, had a sense about something being fundamentally wrong about the way most people think, believe, relate and behave, but little did I know, until now, that it was a well know fact that most people in the USA were, and are, a bunch of “nincompoops.”  

And, not only was that fact well know, before I arrived, at birth, in 1943, a famous movie about the matter, Frank Capra's Mr. Smith Goes to Washington,  had already been made, and was released in 1939.

Although the movie focused on Washington politics and the US Senate, it is blatantly clear to me that Washington politics and the US Senate simply is a microcosmic reflection of the ignorance, arrogance, contradictions, dishonesty and confusion that dominates the general population. With most falsely ‘believing’ that life in the USA is the best there ever was and can ever be, in denial about all of the abundance of historically documented evidence and facts from the beginning of America with the genocidal crimes against the original indigenous inhabitants, to now with the practical reality of dominate mental instability, psychological and spiritual distortions, deceptions and lies, and highly stressful increasingly apathetic daily life, with physical suffering for most USA citizens who are economically deprived, and most addicted to numerous artificial pharmacology corporation pain relief to 'happy pill' drugs, identifying as ‘consumers,’ with those who still can blissfully shopping - in debt up to their eyeballs – a couple of paychecks from being homeless, while worshipping the rich and famous – enthusiastically preparing for the next holidays of Super Bowl parties, and Valentine’s Day. Duuuh, I love YOU too.  

Oh well, so it is. Help is still available. [Clue Note: The best solutions are not based in politics or memberships in religious organizations – believe it or not.] 

It is also a false prevalent belief about “You can’t teach an old dog new tricks.” I AM learning new ‘thangs’ every day and night.
