Why I changed my profile photo

I have noticed that there are an awful lot of eyes out there.  In OS profile photos, that is.  And mouths in a close following.  Why no noses? Why no ears?  Why no hands?  They have personality, too, don't they?  In my desire to try to be unique, I have switched my photo from my eye to my ear.  Let us see how long this lasts.  I know, I know.  You are thinking.  About your own photo.  Well, please don't copy me!  If you, too, desire a unique facial feature, then try the nose.  I would have used mine but I was beat up by some anonymous drugged-out bitch in the spring and my nose has never been the same.  So I offer it up to you.  Not my nose.  But the concept.

I think that big brother thing is like a plague. every time I look up I see someone watching me. it's unnerving.

Since you're new here, I feel I should inform you that we all had ears as our avatar at one point, until someone decided one day to use their eye, and a whole buch of morons followed suit...

Right after I uploaded my photo I started exploring the blogs and I realized the eyes fad. I felt so uninspired...
but I am too lazy to change the picture. Nice ear, though.

Well, that's certainly original!

I have to say, though, that changing profile photos (or avatars, as we like to call them) can sometimes really throw me. I have gotten so used to most of them that I can identify them instantly. When people change them, it confuses me!

This whole avatar (what does that mean, exactly) photo thing is so funny. My son told me I look drunk in mine and that it doesn't really look like me so I was going to change it but then I felt like it's not Facebook and people don't really change their photos here because the photos are secondary to the posts and it doesn't matter if it's a good picture or not because we're not shallow here, right? I think I'll keep it for now. Nice ear.

I know what you mean, I was thinking about doing a close up of one of my nipples, just be different. I haven't ruled it out. I like your ear.

BTW - no offense to The Eyes! I was once one of you! And I may be back! Maybe my Ear switch was too impetuous; I am having some regrets. But I am a good listener, so maybe it will work. I don't know! Oh, the agony!

Well you will definitely get an earful here. I hear Ears are the new Eyes this Fall. BTW, it sounds like a good idea. I hope I didn't echo any other blogger's voice.
