I've had a bad couple of days...meaning I've been having trouble staying on the diet. I may have to cut out grains altogether. They are just too much of a temptation. It doesn't help when your spouse just isn't there at the same place you are in this walk.
I'm not giving up...I have to do this...that's why I started blogging about it. I've had a little advice from some people here. One suggested the Belly Fat Cure...I bought the book and there is a lot of real interesting info there. I am insulin resistant because of having PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndone). It messes with your hormones and leaves your body ravaged as though it had been on prednizone for years. Your face moons and you gain and gain and gain weight. You become insulin resistant and susceptible to cancer. (I had cancer because of this 10 years ago. ) It also renders you unable to have children...luckily I had my kids before I got it.
This BFC diet seems to address some of the problems I have. After a week on the diet I know I am addicted to carbs. I am having as much trouble with them as I had getting off of caffeine. I dumped that so I can cleanse myself of overdoing it on carbs too.
Another person suggested I check out a website reguarding drinking enough water. I do drink water, but maybe not enough. I have also heard on The Doctor show that if you drink a couple glasses of water before meals you won't eat as much....I believe it.
Anyway, I am posting the two videos and if you have any suggestions or stories that you can share...please do! I need all the help and encouragement I can get. I will be weighing in Monday. Until then..
