Gabrielle Giffords worked hard to get to where she was before the shooting in Tucson, Arizona. She like many of us went to college, got married, and worked diligently to become a Democratic Representative. E. J. Monitini of the Arizona Republic did an article interviewing Pia Carusone. The article, Gabrielle Giffords' Staffer talks about congresswoman's health was released on June 9, 2011 in which he talks to Carusone about Giffords progress. In the article, the staffer tells that Giffords is still using body language, facial expressions, and gestures to communicate. The hard part for her staffer is dealing with all the questions that are being asked about will and if she returns back to her position as a congresswoman how effective will she be? Political Gamesmanship can be ruthless but it seems that as Giffords is recovering daily this is not the time for them to begin lobbying for her position as congresswoman. They could at least let her walk inside her front door first. It was not so long ago that the democratic congressman from West Virginia who was 92 years old served. If someones ability to act as a representative should be questioned, it should have been him and long before his 92nd brithday. Indeed what were his mental capabilities at the time he was in congress? So it seems that this Great United States should be cognizant of how it steps with Giffords who is recovering from being shot in the head.

Today the first photo was released of her that has been taken since the shooting. Her hair is cropped short and she is smiling. I looked at some of the other photos they had taken of Gabrielle Giffords before the shooting. I looked at her wedding picture. She was smiling and the most beautiful blushing bride in white. She looked hopeful in the picture and her husband was handsome standing by her side. I looked at another picture of her holding a campaign sign that said, "Gabrielle Giffords for Congress." In the three pictures, there was such drastic difference. But, what can be expected after experiencing the tragedy she did. It should also never be forgotten what they took from her on that day. But, it should also be duly noted that she still might fully recover. She should not by any means be pushed out of her position.

Her staffer told the reporter Gabrielle is remembering more words daily. She is recovering at a faster pace than was expected of her. Let's not forget this woman won an election and that takes perseverance. Politics is a world of its own though. The Washington Posts wrote Giffords only released the first photo in an attempt to shun the audacious paparazzi. They have been trying to get photos of her. She will be leaving the hospital in less than a month The Washington Posts wrote. At least for now, we can have hopes that Giffords will recover and beat the horrible hand fate has dealt her.

I agree. I hope with all my heart she recovers and steps back into her office to function fully as a congresswoman.
Yes, she does look amazing after all she has been through. I am wishing her a speedy recovery in every way. In looking at her pictures she seemed to me like someone that really was a genuine person. Someone you could trust in and that is what we need as a congresswoman.
I hope she recovers fully and there is no reason at this point to doubt she won't considering she is gaining recovery of her vocabulary.
I will put the correct sourcing in above thank-you. I believe she is the kind of woman we should tell our daughters about. She is a very courageous woman.
