I thought I’d join in the fun and games as I love learning about other bloggers and I find these contests and awards great ways to do just that.  So here goes nothing….

Questions from My Sardinian Life:

1. Where in the world is Carmen Sandiego?  Ok…who or what is Carmen Sandiego?  Thank goodness for Wikipedia!  Carmen Sandiego is definitely hiding away in either Uzbekistan or else some remote island in the pacific sipping down vodka tonics.
2. Why did the chicken cross the road?  Easy.  Because he was super thirsty and saw an ice cold beer waiting for him plus a beautiful chick.
3. Who inspires you?  Of course I have to be serious now.  My parents inspire me and encourage me to be who I am.  My husband and my children love me unconditionally and inspire me to keep smiling and laughing each and every day.  And the people around the world struggling to survive yet still smile inspire me for their courage and strength.
4. Color or colour; favorite or favorite?  Definitely “color” and “favorite” but I sure wish sometimes I had that sexy British accent instead of my Minnesoooo-ta twang.
5. Black, white or read all over? Red all over, baby!
6. Past, present or future?  I wish I could say future but I live in all three.  The past reminds me, the present encourages me and the future inspires me.  My favorite motto is Carpe Diem!
7. You have one day to live, are given a million dollars, you must donate the money. Which charity do you choose?  Oh….the perfect question for me since I am working to promote the UN Foundation’s Shot@Life Program which helps vaccinate children in impoverished nations around the world.  I would also give back to Hands in Nepal who I have worked with over the last year to help support education in rural Nepal.
8. Planes, trains or time machines?  Planes and trains are for me as they get me where I want to go.  No need to go into time as I’m sure it would just freak me out.
9. What is the meaning of life?  Enjoying each and every day with the people you love and contributing a piece of yourself to this world.  Don’t want to leave without leaving a positive footprint.
10. Blogs or books?  I love both!  I read incessantly yet have also completely fallen in love with blogs.  I starting reading blogs because I found the news so incredibly depressing and negative. I wanted to read about positive things people are doing in this world and create an international blogging community.
11. Your favourite space?  Travel, travel, travel.  Being on a mountain, in a new city and seeing the world!  That is what I love and live for.
