It seems a bit ironic that I just posted Jakesprinter’s Sunday Post on Autumn and was complaining about the lack of fall. As a born and bred Minnesotan, I should know that it always arrives the third week of September.
The dry summery weather finally gave a last hurrah on Sunday followed by a welcomed surprise: A nice Canadian clipper rolled into town on Monday bringing the cool, breezy weather that reminds me of fall. Despite the draught here, we are getting some colors although as I mentioned earlier a lot of poor leaves are so dry that they are shriveling up and falling before they turn. Oh well. At least fall is here!
