At this point, many of you have probably already heard the sad news: John Hughes, director of "Ferris Buehler's Day Off," "The Breakfast Club," and "Weird Science"among many other films (and the writer of "Pretty in Pink") died of a heart attack today, while taking a walk in New York City.
No matter your opinion on his artistry, one can't argue with the fact that Hughes' work had a tremendous impact on the zeitgeist of the 80s -- and on a generation of American teenagers -- and based on the Twitter reactions, his death is bringing back memories for an awful lot of people. It's a subject that I'm sure a lot of you are going to discuss tonight, and we'd like to know: What was your favorite John Hughes movie moment?
