- Mother of Suzan, April, and Rose. Grandmother of Jacob, Sydney, Emma, Hannah, and Joshua. Retired from teaching, first in New York, then South Carolina, last in California. Taught High School and Middle School, last eight years taught second grade bilingual. Also taught adults in ESL classes at night. Love my dog Coco and my cat Raindrop. Play the piano a bit and have been a children's choir director. Cancer survivor and also a survivor of three surgeries on that same stubborn left knee.
