" Eric Cantor, Please report to the office. Eric Cantor." The loud speaker beckons the fry from the front of his class room. It's eleventh hour at the School of Grim.
A skinny tall kid stands. He shuffles out to the hall way. Sickle in hand.
No one seems to be around, or pay him any mind, except the gouly hall monitor with horn rims. Some sort of fraternal sign is exchanged between them. He smirks.
His long dark robes too short, exposing his boney ankles and shiny wing tips.
He turns the corner.
On the right, above a door is a mirrored sign, G.O.P. Grim Official Principal.
He knocks, three times.
Deep from inside an ancient feeble voice calls out, "Enter my son."
"You wanted to see me, Sir?" The scrawny dark eyed child scans the ostentatious office. Portraitures of previous graduates line the wall behind the dark figure. Empty cans of Coke litter an enormous desk.
"Please sit. Drink, my son?" A long finger slowly pushes another can towards the overly confident child. All other objects on the desk seem to fall away. "You're looking a little, well, should we say eager."
"I'm following the silver select silibus, Sir." He smirked. "The one you suggested we read." He took a sip from the classic coke can.
"Yes, yes I see. Drink up child. What I wanted to speak to you about is your behavior this week." From nowhere a photo glided across the slick desk.
Eric leaned in to spy at it. "What about it, Mr Reeper." His brash unapologetic tone singed the air.
"Actually, you're doing great kid. Much better than that boney craybaby I sent in. I just wanted to tell you to watch you back son. And don't forget to read Chapter 6 more closely..."
"Pray away the Stray? Oh yea, sure thing Sir. Anything else?" He stood to leave.
"Yes, have Mrs. G page that juicy Michelle on your way out. Drink, drink up my son."
Eric noticed the empty spot in the middle of the wall next to J.B.'s portrait. It was directly over G.R.'s chair.
Next year... the zealous Junior thought to him self as he scarfed down the nectar. "Sure thing Mr.Reeper."
