Move On

It's time to move

get in the groove

and pack away the grey

Dust off the best

throw out the rest

and simplify your way

Take heed of this

and not of that

tred lightly on the fray

For down the road

with best of load

to start a new year day

Goodby old things

bare curtain rings

and dirty selfish past

I'm on to more

for what's in store

to save the shrinking cash

To rent to let

forget the bent

and greedy bankers stash

Tomorrow brings

promising things

of which I can not pass.
