i  have nothing left to say

except that greed has found a way

and reason seems to be forgone

and dumb the norm

from  muteness worn

Sunday words are not in use

they seem to be a bit obtuse

and now we're told

our IQ read

is smply that...

sophmoreically  said

pander not to those of you

politiciously wise...

or [are they] just buffoons

wee media lips now highly defined

over exposed

yet so [pinky up] unrefined

each day a banal poll from hell

phlegmatic race for which to tell

stupid and insular even pedestrian

this country's fate

for capital sins

fall silent then for most

the sum

remotely shove off

tune out

or play dumb

I don't know why,
but somehow in my
present frame of mind
I seem to relate to this
even if for a brief while.

Good I'm getting somewhere then.:D
Craps! (dice term)
Oh buddies...thanks.
I couldn't have said it better myself -- truly. And I get pretty annoyed with those who "tune out and play dumb." They are taking up space that is running out fast.

If indeed
we continue
to be dumb
soon enough
true to form
the election will pass
like broken glass
scattered on the ground
nothing lasts.
Kinda like a zombie movie
Only the zombies are morons
That watch Fox News.
"Each day a banal poll from hell"..... Wow. Your poem contains all the words that bang around my brain on a day-to-day basis. But I have no ability to put them down on paper. You do, and I thank you so much for sharing this. In reading your words, I don't feel so alone with my rattling brain. Rated with great admiration.
M, it's shake rattle then roll! Ha. Thanks for getting us.
