Yo ho there matey, a couple of hot mugs and a Morning brew drive thru for yee. You never know what's around the corner here, mate.

The green headed tanager surprised us with his turquoise tummy.His tune was just as beautiful. Speaking of Bird brain, guess who managed to find um'?

Poppie seems to be making friends easily . The Exotic Bird Rescue happened to be in Balboa Park today. That little guy, Sunny...well on his way to becoming a pirate, I think.

Just one more flower shot... I promise...

Ok, well this one wasn't bloomin'... but sure looked hungry to me.

A magical dragon lurking in the Asian Passage came our way this morning.

But don't worry boys...he was a mighty friendly beast and didn't carry any crackers for fire. He really had...

Back at ya' soon. Although we're going to miss this weather. 80's and sunny. Here's a new take on shy, is he coming or going?

The evolution feels current but the property still has it's moments. Speaking of moments...

An outdoor cafe looks out to the famous Bell Tower Sculpture garden past reflective pools...and yes me, reflecting, about...melons. :D

Stumbled across the Int'l Hostel this morning. Dead quiet at 9 am. Ocean Beach still hosts the youth of the world...writers of the future...journey on Babe...Amazing journalese spoken here... Peace Dude!

If United gets us home...that's another storY, we'll see ya' soon doll.

Beautiful photos, tg. I think my favourite is the second. I've not seen nor heard of a green-headed tanager before! And the hostel ... how clean and crisp it is!!! Lovely!

Thanks Kate, that's why I go to the zoo, to discover newness. The Hostel got a lot more gritty as the day unpeeled and the doors and windows spilled out the sleepy travelers.The charm changed with the sun.
