So it appears that one of our esteemed Senators is in record as claiming that the record amount of snow in Washington DC shows that climate change isn't really happening. Yes, James Inhofe had an Al Gore snowman challenge because he claims that the winter storms the Washington area is suffering from is "evidence" that climate change isn't really happening.
Of course, Inhofe shows why he's completely clueless on science when he says things like this. One data point does not a trend make, Inhofe. How did he pass his freshman statistics class? How much was the bribe or are there pictures out there of the acts you had to perform which would result in you being a bigger laughing stock than Larry Craig or Mark Foley?
But let's ignore that for a minute. Let's just look at the stupidity of Inhofe. At the same time that Washington DC is dealing with more snow than it knows what to do with, one place that's known for its snow -- in fact a place that depends on it and needs it right now -- has none.
Why? A record heat wave in January melted it.
And that's causing problems in Vancouver, the site of the 2010 Winter Olympics.
So much so that one of the venues is having snow trucked in.

As the Calgary Herald puts it, Cypress Mountain, where the snowboarding and free skiing events will be held, is suffering from "freakishly warm weather. The latest 14-day outlook continues to call for warm temperatures."
But the lying Inhofe won't let that get in the way of his uninformed and ignorant stunt. Why let facts get in the way of a stupid, pathetic, and idiotic "argument."
If it weren't illegal to assault a Senator, I'd propose an experiment.
I'll show up with a baseball bat and go Al Capone on his head. We'll see if there is any difference.
Purely in the interest of science, of course. It's clear that Inhofe is clueless when it comes that topic.

Oklahoma needs to keep Inhofe in DC. All he ever did here was bankrupt his family's insurance company and screw a lot of people on a lake development called Pine Island.
Rather than Oklahoma bearing the entire undue burden of a major natural disaster, we share him with America.
He's long had the reputation as being "The Dumbest Senator." I once watched as Inhofe ended an interview and pulled out his earpiece. The resulting vacuum sucked the toupee off of Sam Donaldson's head.
as a math guy i'd love to see an unfiltered and uncorrupted set of raw data of world temps to formulate my own opinion.
Thanks for the laugh P.J.

I'm not a math guy NG, but I'd like to see some non-manipulated data as well.
