Toritto is my Human! - Trixie the Cat

"You are my human, Toritto!  Don't forget I let you live here!

(Don't show Toritto too much affection.  That's for sappy dogs.  Make your human earn their scant, rare rewards)

I really don't like my name - Trixie - but I got named by one of Toritto's kids after I suckered him into taking me home.  I got cat street smarts!

"Tink" would be a nice name but I understand there is some blonde cat named "Tink".  I don't like blondes.  Bimbo-cats"

"Could you change what's on the T. V?   Human politics and the History Channel are so boring!  How come there are no female cat shows anyway?   Just another form of cat oppression."'

" I love being retired in Florida!  Better than Jersey!  I get to sit on my chair in my lanai and soak up the ambiance.

"It's me doing my imitation of Bat Cat!  Love that movie!   Just chillin staring out the glass doors at my property.    Keeping those sand hill cranes away!"

"Well what should I do the rest of the day?  Should I snuggle with Toritto?  Naah.  Wouldn't  want to spoil him!"

"Maybe some exercise.  Well maybe not"

Lovely story,Toritto,
and that cat is a reincarnation of the cat we had as children. One day it was run over by a car and I found it next morning on my way to school.I picked up this piece of cardboard and brought it home to my mother, crying.
This one here is huge like a wild cat or a lynx.
And your human is a very nice human, too. And you, Trixie (haha), are the very epitome of tabbyhood.

P.S. - I don't get this aloof-cat thing people write about - mine won't leave me alone. Okay, so they sleep most of the time, but when they're awake they're vying for lap (or keyboard) space and get quite agitated when I go to the garage because that means I'm leaving, and it could be minutes or DAYS...
Great story and pictures, Frank. Every time you say lanai, I think of "The Golden Girls."/r
Chris - heehee. I guess the alternative is "screened in patio" - not nearly as poetic as "lanai"

:-)
Love the last pic... reminds me of our old cat ALWC, pronounces all-wack for Average Looking White Cat.
Gray tigers are great. Never met one I didn't like.
:)
She's livin' la vida increíble with those cream-colored, leather couches, isn't she? ;-)
Debbie - In the first pic she is sitting on a recliner with very thick leather - which she doesn't scratch. The couch in the background in in the same pic she never goes on - she's a good cat. She loves her two scratching posts.

:-)
Haha...that LOOK in the 2nd photo says it all... :)
Oh look, a kitty!!! Here kitty, kitty! What a beautiful creature!
That is one lucky cat! She so owns you. :)
r./
She's not sleeping - she's thinking up her next Blog: "His Litter Box" or "He doesn't Mew like he used to"! R
She has you right where she wants you, clearly. =o) Ready to beg for a littel affection from the cat. And if Trixie is like my two, she never offers to do the dishes either, I'll bet!

rated, but not TOO enthusiastically. Don't want Trixie to think I'm sucking up.
How cute. My poor kitties are stuck in NJ with me.
Ha, you are owned by a cute cat!!!
What a face! Trixie, you are a beautiful Tabby girl, and definitely no bimbo!
Aww, Trixie looks like she doesn't take any nonsense from anybody. I love tabbies! How cute!
BAT CAT!!! Teehee!!

I ain't no bimbo, that's my mom!! What? :D
Frank, your cat is the spitting image of our cat PeeWee, who disappeared three years ago. We miss him to this day, he was such a character. He was apparently part Bengal, from what someone told us. We found him as a stray in a grocery store parking lot when he was about 6 weeks old. How we loved that cat, who lived with us and entertained us for almost seven years...thanks for the photos of your wonderful kitty, a wonderful reminder of ours.
