As most of us already know it is Buffyw's birthday and that is enough reason to throw a party, but I have further reason to celebrate. Today is me and Mel's tenth anniversary.
Ten years ago Melinda made me the happiest man on Earth by consenting to be my wife and to share my life. The past ten years have been, without a doubt, the best years of my life and she is the reason for all the good that has come my way.
Sure, it hasn't all been fun and games. We have had some hard times, especially over the past year and a half, but one thing has remained constant.....we have always had each other to lean on and to draw strength from....she is my rock and my anchor.
This sweet little Yankee angel came into my life and taught me how to care again, how to love again, and how to dream again. I wish all of you could have the chance to meet her and see for yourself what a special lady she is.
I guess, if I had to sum up what she means to me in a short sentence it would be:" Mel is not my whole world, but she makes my world whole."
One thing I am sure of and that is, no matter what happens in the future I will continue to see myself as the luckiest man on the planet because I have the love of this good woman.
So join me in celebrating not only Buffyw's birthday, but also my own special day.......my anniversary.

We went out to a local Tex-Mex place and had a great meal then we spent the rest of the evening quietly at home doing a lot of hand holding and stuff like that....LOL!
I will just close this by stating in all seriousness....Every morning I wake up and she is laying next to me is a day to celebrate.
