Timothy Geitner has announced his fix for the mess he and his friends got us into.  He is going to make it profitable for the rich to trade their bad assets back and forth. We don’t need the rich to invest in anything but their own companies, their own country and the principles of the constitution that allows them the freedoms they prosper from.

 While it is true we do kinda need them to put some of the money they pulled out of the market back in, it is only to get the prices back up to where they should be, not necessarily where it was.

 It’s time to stand up to the false stock market economy.  We have allowed the Medias’ hourly Dow, S&P and NASDAQ updates to twist our belief of what an economy is.  We need to change the way the economy is run.  Today we are told that the economy is strong if the rich are buying stocks from each other and if they are lending their money to us the lower and middle classes.  That is not a strong economy!  That is a WEAK economy that works only for the rich and their corporations. 

 For this country to maintain it’s promise of a more perfect union and to promote the general welfare THIS MUST CHANGE.   The general welfare must include a middle-class life without debt.  It must include the ability for a family to achieve a living wage from one job.  It must include a system in which the gamblers lose their losses, and not be “rescued”, so they are less willing to take those high risk gambles.  This country was founded by men who where rising up against the oppression of the rich.  They were upper-middle class land owners who went against their own best interests to establish a system where EVERYONE would benefit from the work of EVERYONE.

 Why should the Gov’t save the rich from their risky investments gone badly?  Why should “We The People” pay for their new jets and hangars while they ignore the problems of the people (http://abcnews.go.com/Blotter/Story?id=7146474&page=1)

 Remember: “that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. That to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed.” 

 Our Government must be reminded that they derive their powers from OUR consent! OUR voices need to be heard.  Call your representatives – all of them!  Call your Bank Manager! Call your Community Association President! Call your Religious leader!  Call your HOA President! Call your City Council member! Call your Mayor!  Call your State Congressman!  Call your Union Rep!  Call your State Senator!  Call your Governor!  Call your National Senator!  Call your National Congressman!  Call your Newsrooms!  Call any gov’t agency that you can!  Be LOUD AND PROUD!
