Is it wrong

Rate: 3 Flag

Is it wrong that I was bored during the press conference last night?

Why were so many of the questions so simple or previously asked?

Where were the deeper questions?  such as "how exactly will this administration reverse the programs that got us in this mess?" or "How will this administration return former goverment services to the governmet?  Services such as Military and Prisons."

And what was Chuck Todd trying to ask???  I know he asked for people to send in their questions but did he really need to take one word form each question?

But I have to say "Way to go Mr President!" in putting CNN in their place!

Trevor, no it is not wrong to be bored; just watch & listen. But you are correct that the questions were dull, asked and not very substantive. I think that the "Networks" have placed non journalist as their White House Correspondents; and that includes CNN & Fox.

And as for NBC's Chuck Todd - what a joke about asking for questions at Newvine.com - if that was the best question or worst his own - NBC needs a new correspondent. But President Obama did the best he could with the "war/sacrifice" angle.

Finally we have a President that can respond with knowledge, wit and substance; despite the fact he was not really challenged by the press corp..

I was really surprised by the questions ... I was bored, too ... but I think it's supposed to be boring this go round ... no mistakes, no gaffes, no slip-ups ... just ping pong ... safe, you know ~
