I'm not going to dismiss the Swine Flu - I think you need to do the logical things when the flu is going around. An ounce of Prevention is worth a Pound of cure.  Or a $2 mask, $2 in Sanitizer and staying home when your sick is worth $200,000,000 in cure...

That said

Why are we pumping so much money into this when MILLIONS of people contract or fight Cancer, MILLION die from Heart Disease and Hundreds of Thousands or millions die from other hard to cure diseases each year.  These are things we need to money into - not send money to emergency response centers so they can hoard Tamaflu in case the mayor gets the sniffles.

Hours a day are being dedicated to the flu, which has killed one American and less than 500 world wide.  

By the time you finish reading this more than 500 people will have died worldwide due to a disease that needs more research funding.

Don't let the media hysteria distract you from more perilous medical issues.

Ask your representatives to ensure Health Care reform deals with Heath CARE not just Health INSURANCE reform.
