Richard Heene, balloon boy Daddy get's spanked by Judge
The long winded judge in Ft. Collins Colorado is still speaking at the sentencing hearing of Richard Heene, father of 6 year old Falcon Heene of "balloon boy" fame.
30 days in jail for Daddy. 60 more days of work release (jailed at night). A fine of up to $42G to cover cost of emergency crews. Four years of strictly supervised probation which includes a prohibition on the Heene family accepting any money for anything to do with the incident.
I personally found this whole situation beyond disturbing; that parents would teach their children that fraud on the public was ok for the sake of making money. However, ask me if I'm surprised and I will say NO.

Frankly, I am glad to see the dumbass thrown in jail. And I had stopped paying attention to this story a while ago, so thanks for the "happy ending."

Stupid dad, poor kids, just crap, it sucks...
You know what would be cool though? Getting an EP and cover for something that I spend hours on; something that myself and others think is actually good. I guess I'll never be happy.

I am deeply embarassed to admit that I saw this moron on "Wife Swap" and not in any way suprised that he pulled this numb-nut caper. I love that his ass is going to jail, and adore that you covered it and got a cover as a result.
