Who Dat! You beat me to it. 1 Irritated Mutha is gonna have 2 buy lots and lots of P-H. Who Dat! R
Yaaay for you Trig! I love the underdogs, great game! Punchbuggy black and gold, no punches back!
Normally don't give a fig, but it's New Orleans! Who dat won da Super Bowl? Who dat!
Hurricanes for all! Damn, I can imagine the party down there. I'm gonna be high as a kite for a coupla weeks...
You DID tell us!! That was a fun game to watch - even better than the geriatric Who!!! It almost looked so easy for the Colts in the 1st qtr that they seemed to quit a little. Not taking anything away from the Saints though. That 4th and goal in the second qtr when they didn't make it siad it all: "We're coming at ya' Colts" and march in they did. A proud night for Saints everywhere!
Trophy ceremony. Seen the live shots from the quarter? It's already carnivale season anyway... I so wish I could be down there. That city and their team has some freakin' heart.
LAISSEZ LES BON TEMPS ROULER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Congrats. Bananas Foster all around?
Watch Bourbon Street live HERE.
I literally have tears in my eyes... still. Unbelievable.
(psst - ask Nana what he was doing while the Super Bowl was on)
I promise I can´t make heads or tails of that crazy sport of yours! Nobody in Argentina can!!! We love soccer - we call it FUTBOL, our adaptation from the original English football...- but I can sense the same rivalry across teams.... So, Saints, huh??
Kisses!
Marcela
It was great game. The Saints came from 10 points behind and won by 14 points! The interception and +70 yard run clinched it. Going into the game, I had no team preference. But when I think about all that New Orleans has been through -- and that this is their first time ever to win the Super Bowl -- I'm happy with the outcome. Mardi Gras will be amazing! (I'll say a prayer for 1IMom tonight.)
nanner, so you chatted with Nat during the superbowl?

Deven.. that feed sain't workin' for me
Let the good times roll is right, nan! Yay Saints!
Great game and some talented coaching.
I'm glad you have the Super Bowl spirit. I'll live vicariously through you.
I wouldn't chat with someone during the Superbowl. Pffft. I watched the 1939 production of "Wuthering Heights." It's OK though; I had the game on in one of those little picture-in-picture windows.
Not that there's anything wrong with that.
Prettiest picture I have seen in a while. How about opening the half with an onside kick?
WOOT WOOT!!!!!!! Was that freakin' awesome or what? I said all along that the Saints would win because they just wanted it the most!
RATED!
Oh when the Saints....come marching in...

They will kick Colts ass!!! :)
I'm figuring Mom is probably watching the Drew Brees intvw on ESPN right now...
You have to have the Windows plug in for the cam to work. Shoot. You should have seen it. Jammed like old time Mardi Gras.
Nawlins needed that ...
LAISSEZ LES BON TEMPS ROULER!
Heard there was a par-tay over at Trig's... somebody mix me up a Hurricane-- I'm almost done with my research paper and the Saints won. Woot woot!
What a buzz eh! Can you imagine all the money being passed around in Vegas? Damn. My heart goes out to Colts fans... a little bit.
Hurricanes!
Gator shots!
Serpent bites!
You name it... BAR IS OPEN
whatta game! yooooooo! those saints are a scrappy bunch and outplayed the colts for three quarters.
I was slinging gumbo and beers in the Quarter tonight. Word on the street is, and I quote, 31 motherfucking 17!

Word from Leeandra is $400+. Fuck dem Saints. LEEANDRA DAT!
a deeply satisfying win :-)
AMAZING GAME TRIG! THEY ROCKED THE HOUSE!

Boo Ya!
Yes! And I'm making beignets tomorrow. Really.

Awesome game. Go Saints!
The team of destiny! All my respect for da WhoDat Nation.

Way down yonder
in New Orleans....
I'm truly happy for them. Even if they did defeat the Vikings to get there. (Damn it!) I hope every one of those guys gets to hold the Lombardi Trophy in a picture with their mothers, fathers, wives and kids. And Mardi Gras is still a week away!! : D
Posted elsewhere but worth repeating. This was no miracle, the Saints have an excellent team, a damned good coach, one of the most accurate QB's in the game, and on top of everything else, a patient -- some would say saintly -- owner (Jerry Jones take note).

Everyone will point to the onside kick or the interception as the game changers -- and they were important. But I see the turning point as the failed long field goal attempt by the Colts -- it should never have been attempted, especially with the Colts potent offense and an extremely accurate QB. The Saints were having a hard time stopping Dallas Clark across the middle, it was very short yardage, and the Colts had a much better chance of making a first down than they did making that field goal.

The miss turned the ball over to the Saints almost at midfield, and they went down and scored. Absent that score, I doubt Porter would have risked making that break on the throw that resulted in an int and a TD.

That's my opinion, and it ain't even Monday yet.
go saints. ah to see New Orleans tonight
Wait, the 1939 "Wuthering Heights" was on and I missed it.

:'( Damn it, I SOOOO need to get TIVO or something.

**wanders off**
I am sure glad the SAINTS won here.
Oh thanks I wondered who won.
I will give you this, Trig: the team that played better last night won.
I don't have much interest in football (too much like war), but even I liked this game!
Yeah, me too! Happy Day to New Orleans! Who wouldn't give it to 'em... (The sweetness of this SB victory will last 'til next year, for sure!)
Trig, it is ok to be right man, i knew you were two months ago when ya tode me. Thanks for lettin the Jayhawks into yur livin room when you were wantin us to leave.
I'm delighted for you ;-)
