thank you universe for this years fabulous Fall

Thanksgiving, already, once again. The older I get the faster time slips by! Now, soon, Christmas and bah humbug.. but I do believe I will participate in the big thanks thing this year, although I still think it's a bit ridiculous to set aside one day for gratitude.

Day before yesterday I made  B-T's (I usually skip the L) with ripe tomatoes from my garden. Yes, November 21st... home grown ripe tomatoes. The weather has been spectacular.

On the way out the door for work last week, I noticed this frosty flower by the back sidewalk. It (or he, or she) was surely shocked by the cold treatment, possibly thinking (in as much as flowers think) that it was spring time. The weather has been... spectacular.

All is well with friends and family..

.. yes, life is pretty damned sweet this year, for a change!

So.. mucho gratitudo!! (yes, I learned Spanish this year too)

Son-of-a-gun weather just keeps on bein' good! Just remember the old adage, "Make hay while the sun shines!"

"Work ya rascal, ya wouldn't go to school!"

Have the best winter ever (if you ever get one).

Wow Those are two beautifully captured photos. Fall is here!
Now THAT is a tomato! Happy Thanksgiving!
YOur silver lining optimism is cool. Stay free.
Great pics. Thanks for posting this.
Happy Thanksgiving to you. I 'd rate if OS would let me.
Great photos. Glad things are well with you and yours. But that spectacular weather thing? ... most likely climate change. Still, who doesn't enjoy a nice day.

Deck on.
Great illustration of the dichotomy of fall.
yeah yeah, but the nice long fall is probably due to global warming.

gotta admit I'm enjoying ours too. We got first snow today, but it'll be gone tomorrow and some more good temps for the weekend.
Mucholito gratititto going on around here too! Enjoy!
Yeah, it could be climate change, but ya gotta take the good with the bad, I say.

Those chile peppers are the real deal. Beautiful.
Oh I love it when you do this :).

Rated for Time's flight.
Nice tomatoes....Happy Thanksgiving!
Hey wait, you grew penises in your garden this year? Awesome!! Where's the bushes? Ahhh, you trimmed em, gotcha!! :D

Happy Thanksgiving my friend, the year for me job wise still sucks, but I'm growing a beard in protest of my economic situation and not a reporter has come up to interview me!! BASTARDS!! :D

But still alive and breathing and able to do something that resembles writing!! Wooooo!! Yeah, it still sucks but it's my!! :D
Impressive plants. Mine frosted off a few weeks ago.

Happy Thanksgiving to you, too. Wishing you a wonderful weekend.
It was hard to get here, but Happy Thanksgiving. Pass it on to your bro too.
Beautiful tomatoes. I have a friend that gardens year round. She has a type of green house made out of recycled wooden windows attached to the ground. Her boys did them for her in Scouts. She brought me lunch yesterday and we had salads with fresh lettuce and tomatoes from her garden. The above ground garden has been exhausted but this was just as superb!!!!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Wow, I'm impressed by the tomatoes. Are the chilies edible? Those cold, clear, sunny days in fall make your spirits rise.
Beautiful photos, so much to be thankful for!
