In spring when maple buds are red,
We turn the clock an hour ahead;
Which means, each April that arrives,
We lose an hour out of our lives.
Who cares? When autumn birds in flocks
Fly southward, back we turn the clocks,
And so regain a lovely thing
That missing hour we lost in spring.

Beautiful picture and poem.

Why Congress of course. Who else thinks they have the power to tell us when to go to bed and when to wake up?
Just wait until they begin regulating toilet flushes :-)
The time change always comes the first Sunday after Halloween. The candy companies are behind this. I would have prefered not to set the clocks back.
Unfortunately, I don't get, or lose, that hour.
Nice photo choice too!
