Thanks Simple Shutterbug for the Open Call.
If it weren’t for these Gallery OC’s lately, I wouldn’t be posting anything. And this one is interesting because just last week I was thinking that I havn’t done anything “summery” this summer. No vacation (though one is coming in October), not even much sun.
Unlike most of the rest of you out there who have been sweltering this summer – the Pacific NW reached 90 degrees for the first time in 2 years!! And it lasted 3 days. People were running out buying air conditioners like hot cakes. (Also, unlike the rest of you out there not many of us have air conditioners). Not worth it for those 3 days of summer we have. Not complaining, no not complaining.
So last weekend I decided to do an inventory of the parks in my (new) neighborhood. I moved since last summer because of the two new “you know who’s!” in my life.
We may not have much sun in the summer but we do have lots and lots of water, lakes, & beautiful places.
So, besides going to work every day & babysitting on a lot of Saturday nights, here are a couple of Summer in the Seattle Suburb pictures.

I would have been sitting in those chairs had it not been private property.
