Third, people made fun of it because it added to the evidence that he was stupid. Obama has not otherwise demonstrated much frank stupidity.

Obama repeated "Corpseman" six times....granted not like when he repeated "I" 46 times in one hour....excuse me 70 minutes.

OK, he said it six times. And tonight, someone will tell him he said it wrong, and he won't do it again. He will learn - the ability to do so being part of what not being stupid is about. W never learned not to say Nuculur.

But really, how someone says one word is hardly a measure of the man, unless you are just out to denigrate someone without having to put much intellectual effort into it. W, on the other hand nearly ruined this country over a period of 8 years, which I think counts for a bit more than the fact that he couldn't pronounce nuclear.

Jimmy Carter also said "nukular". It's one of those funny words that trip up a lot of people.

The corpseman thing is a lack of knowledge by Mr. Obama.

Sir Sydney, Obama has his chance and we will soon see what his legacy is and from my vantage point I believe it won't be very favorable; in fact I think he might wish he had George Bush's legacy by the time Nancy and Harry mess things up for him.

As to Bush, never cared for his dad as President and wasn't a big fan of his either because he was a Republican in name only.

As to intelligence, I'd feel a lot better if Obama could speak as well as he reads.

Actually, as a playwright who has auditioned hundreds of actors, I would say that Obama doesn't even read all that well.
