the place from which he started, caved in
Jodhpurs and polo shirts... how extraordinary, I assume there were horses out of frame.
The first impression I have of this dad of an Ume is:
Ume is doing his best to reflect this dad, with his similarly odd puffy trousers and hands behind his back.
I said that? Juxtaposing the Father with Oblivion?
Rather clever of me.
My dad’s world caved in around him, too.
It was nice to live there for a few precious childhood yrs…
His world, I mean. A V.I.P. in the universe, in charge of literally hundreds of lives, by overseeing the Education that got crammed in their heads..we walked the halls of the abandoned high school, on weekends or ‘’after hours’’…so much responsibility for this dad of a Jimmy. He carried it with European grandeur or good old American ‘’one of the guys’’…he was a chameleon…

Hoping that perhaps we will hear more of this dad of an ume.
Oblivion is where dad ended up.
He would look out from there, and see me, and trust me to guide him safely to a suddenly insane techno-fast blur of a world…

I suppose I did ok.

Thank u, ume, for this (rare) personal bit of life history…
he is a very damn straight man who can stand well.
is he , like, 7 feet tall?
or were you a runt?
runt, but i had a shorter distance to fall
(his, the tragedy of the chivalrous)

note: good to see you guys again
ume,u tease us!
''tragedy of the chivalrous"!
"the place from which he started, caved in"...
he took a fall, hm?
hard to believe, looking at him.
did he make a large noise when he fell, or a soft thump
that was barely heard?
oh my. inquiring minds need to know.

Our Viennese friend Freud said
""I could not point to any need in childhood as strong as that for a father's protection."
This was bestowed upon me, thankfully, for a space of time.
Then, of course, the son became the father of the man.
The whole thing played out as if scripted.
good morning, emmerling!

there's a start going on over at Herr's 'Bi Polar Dawn'
if you want to meet me there before it caves in.
The sepia tone only underlines the warmth and charm of this photograph, something special about young boys and their dads
~R~
you are so right, M.C.S.;
what is special about any affiliation
would be the ‘ritual drama’ which
serves as this particular low-lying energy

thank you for stopping by given
all the felling going on.
Ume, indeed your father looks so handsome, you are so charming, and I agree with MCS, this image is so unique. It is so good to meet you as a child.

Thank you for this.
ume, i am trying to comment but am stymied.
i comment, and then...
no comment.

as for stahi, she is right. tis good to meet child ume.
i shall try to submit comments.
why is it failing?
i feel
heavenly judgment.
no, i got a comment through, after much toil.

on herr's brainy blog.
he loves to generalize, as do i.
stahi loves to love.
maybe there is conjunction between these two modes?
that would be
way cool
@james

the generalization of love was the "Dawning of the Age of Aquarius"
"Sunrise" is this Winter Solstice, according to the stars
ume

Fathers father many attitudes- It is good to have one to be proud of..
there is currently a rather pornographic (i know it when i
see it dammit, and have few objections...)
picture in your ''adspace'' ...a fine looking
japanesey gal. with big boobies. her
name is liz, and she is asking me
or you
what we are doing tonight!
~
she wants to be our friend.
!
I am maybe gonna meet up with her, cuz i think she might enjoy
some whitehead.

The mentality of mankind
and the language of mankind created each other.
If we like to assume the rise of language as a given fact,
then it is not going too far to say that the souls of men are the gift from language to mankind.
The account of the sixth day
should be written:
He gave them speech, and they became souls "
Modes of Thought ..
emmermental emmerling;

language is in the origin all the way thru
and the cause of all trouble

note: talkin to old codgers is no sub for a cold shower
