Stephanie, I'm not sure what you're asking, so let me guess. Yes, you put the full URL in the quotes, and the text that goes between (as in my example) LINK TO SALON will be the text that the URL is attached to. You are making the text LINK TO SALON the live link, if that makes sense. You are activating text with hidden code that is the a href=url. Let me know if I just made it worse. :)
where do i find "copy link as HTML," though. i didn't know about that, and don't see it when i right-click. i'd LOVE something to do it for me, because i can remember the href part but never the combination of the a= and where the quote marks go and all the rest.

Can you refer me to how to do a link in the post itself? I did look at Rob's post on it but it's way too complicated for me, yours was much easier to understand so I thought you might have written on how to link in the post itself but i can't find it. thanks
