More Snow & Ice Photos

Rate: 15 Flag

The sky has no mercy here. More snow, followed by ice, followed by snow. The good thing is that the early snow on the car caught the ice, so I could lift off the ice-plates easily--the hidden joy of the day. That may be reaching a bit, but we have to be grateful for something ;-).

I figure you've seen enough trees from me, but I liked this one.

Very nice. Loved the first best.

You got a good eye Sheila.
And under all this white, spring lies sleeping.
It's freezing in Santa Monica too... 64 degrees. Brrrr.
You do these as well as anyone on OS. Great Pics!
fantastic!

that last one is PERFECT. the entire town looks like that. I have glazed azaleas and rhododendron and privet. it's as if each part of them has been dipped in glass.

but it's wicked out there now.
you always manage to capture beauty, even in starkness
thank you
Wooo. Those maple buds in ice look like Christmas tree ornaments. Your photos are terrific and your winter wonderland's a tad scary.
Wonderful snow pictures, Sheba. I never tire of snowy trees, so don't worry on my behalf!

Those are pretty/creepy...like ET hands.
I just spent the day watching the snow go sideways past my window. I loved your beautiful, artistic photos - I am NOT enamoured of the subject matter!! Two days ago I spent 5 1/2 hours without power (or heat) because someone slipped off the highway and took down a power pole. The temperature was -12°C.
Wow, this reminds me of the movie,"Baby Boom." All we've been having is rain. Great pictures. -R-
Almost makes me long for "real" winters.
Yoiks!
That temperature should have shown as -12°C. It is pronounced "minus twelve" Centigrade.
I love trees so....

RATED!! more trees!! :D
