Nothing quite beats the leaves in autumn - especially on what appears to be a fabulous sunny day!
Gorgeous. It's Spring here which is lovely too, but your Autumn looks fabulous.
owl, Cleveland has been cold and dreary. It was so lovely to see the sun!

Natalie, I so envy your impending summer!
scrffus and Duaneart, I'm glad you stopped by.
Oh, so beautiful pix of the Fall. Thanks for sharing!
Pretty!!!

We've been getting cold for the last few days, and then this coming days we're suppose to be back in the 60s and 70s, but the leaves are starting to change!! :)
Gigi, I'm glad you enjoyed them.

Tink, you're down there Kansas ways, right? I thought you folks didn't really have a winter.
I've always said that Indiana and Iowa have their own shades of green. Looks like you've got nice color too. Thanks.
I love that last shot. These are great. This is my favorite season, for that reason.
Beautiful! There's a place in my area where, on a series of limestone ridges, there's a huge stand of sugar maples, the kind you see in New England autumn pictures. It's supposedly the farthest west that they occur naturally on the continent. They aren't quite at their peak yet, but I'm going to go up there this week and get some pics of them when they are; I hope my photos turn out as nice as these.
Gorgeous Autumn rapture!
Some beautiful pictures to start the day here, where it's grey and dull. Thanks for sharing.
Jeff, since I grew up in Indiana, I have always thought it beautiful. Long horizon lines have their own kind of beauty.

Kris, since I live in Cleveland, autumn usually just presages a horrible winter. But these kind of autumn days are very special.

Nana, I can't wait to see your photos. And I love your new banner, by the way!

Roy and Just Cathy, thank you for visiting.

Linda, I may need to revisit these photos on my own dull gray days.
My daughters were inspired by these to take some of their own and stash the colors away for the winter. They turned out pretty spectacularly. Autumn in Indiana is the best.
daughter, it was a terrific weekend!
Beautiful. Here in urban Indiana, it rained all day and knocked out most of the rest of the leaves. Winter, dead ahead.
Frank, I hope you were able to get out in the Indiana countryside before the rains set in.
Breathtaking views, thanks so much; I needed a bit of nature today.
Rated.
Marcela, I'm so glad I helped you get a nature fix!
VG- This is so funny ... I also took a hike today by the lake, and WISHED the whole time that I had brought the camera, because it was so picture-perfect here in Pennsylvania on Nov 1 at 3:00 pm by this lake.
Well, you remembered, so good for you. Helps us to capture the beauty of the season - it's good for the soul!
Bradley, I'm so glad you could look at my photos, since you weren't able to take your own.
The photo of the riverbank is my favorite.
Ranjit, I spent many hours canoeing on the Wabash in my youth.
