Each of us affects the world and all the other people in it as profoundly as a world leader. We don’t see it happen right before our eyes, but our actions ripple out from us to people near us, from them to others, from those others to still others.

Our actions are like rocks dropped in a lake. It doesn’t matter how large the rock is, the ripples it creates will inevitably affect every drop of water in the lake.
