I hate to say, “I told you so,” but I did say that the birth certificate was a red herring because Obama had other problems.

In an article by Jim Kirwan on Rense this morning here, the group “Americans for Freedom of Information” has Obama’s college transcript which shows he received a Fulbright scholarship as a student from Indonesia, which is where he went to school as a child. Since Indonesia requires that students be Indonesian citizens, there has been speculation about Obama’s citizenship as a child. The man who he called his stepfather, Lolo Soetoro, was an Indonesian citizen.

Justice Antonin Scalia says that the Supreme Court has agreed to hear arguments in a suit brought by Leo Donofrio concerning Obama’s dual citizenship in relation to his qualifications to be president. If his father was Barack Hussein Obama Sr., Obama was a Kenyan citizen at birth.

There have been many lawsuits filed to get at the truth of Obama’s background, and petitions signed requesting documents supporting Obama’s qualifications.

Should the unthinkable happen and Obama be found unqualified, this will be about more than some disgruntled Republicans. The ramifications would be international in scope.

After reading the Rense article over two hours ago I turned to CNN. They are not covering this story. The CNN coverage of Obama was typified by a comment from a viewer claiming Obama is too often on TV.

Even if you’re an anti-Obama person, you can’t be shallow enough to believe that our president’s face time on TV is more important than him being able to put speculation over his qualifications behind him.

We need a president who can continue to lead us. Our president is more important than Lindsey Lohan. Let’s pay him some positive attention, now.
