hi all, some news on 911 & conspiracies-- Jan Utzon, the son of the architect of the sydney opera house (the latter considered one of the most iconic engineering landmarks in the entire world and one of the "new 7 wonders of the world" [7]), has signed richard gage's petition questioning 911. he was ridiculed in the press [1], but oh well, whatever. another brave soul putting his reputation on the line. see [2] for a direct interview by gage, which Im embedding here.
gage also recently had a meeting with Sen. Feinstein's staff re nanothermite.[9] of course, in all probability absolutely nothing will come of this.... I guess it was probably about as meaningful and impactful as those meetings in hollywood between various sketchy "players" about a new script or movie idea.... "yeah, sure, right, have your people get in touch with my people....."
gage is sort of like the energizer bunny, he just keeps on going. the word "gadfly" comes to mind. driven! dogged! I cant think of many historical parallels. the 911 "event" is now over 8 years old, close to a decade. there has not been other similar events since then (if you discount various much smaller scale incidents, which I do). I admire his tenacity. he reminds me of activists who spend their whole lives on making incremental, even infinitesimal changes, such as with civil or gender rights.
alas, I think his basic idea of calling for further investigation is just not gonna work out. all the evidence is gone. tens of millions of dollars have already been spent flushed down the toilet on the elaborate NIST investigation whitewash. I fear what is becoming increasingly obvious/apparent-- further investigation is a lost cause.... but I keep writing about this for the same reason gage continues.
"never again". we have to figure out a way to innoculate our entire system from that kind of horror. you dont have to be a conspiracy theorist to agree with that statement. thats something everyone can agree on. the 911 truthers just think theres a different underlying dynamic at play, different causes that need to be addressed.

oh yeah, the other really big news lately is that atty general Holder has announced a trial for the 911 hijackers in NYC. in a trial there is a so-called discovery phase where all the facts are laid on the table.
likely, for this trial, this will be something of a sham. we will not hear of torture, of alternative information on the 911 events such as military and intelligence agency involvement, etcetera. the defendants rights to due process has already been highly violated. supposedly the justice system is focused the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. but the caveat/limitation is that this is circumscribed by politics and human nature. a non-fraudulent government system would have already done more than merely face the information on nanothermite, it would have jumped on it.[8]

other news. in [3] [india foreign press] its reported that the CIA paid the ISI, the pakistani intelligence service, large sums of money. this is the kind of hidden intelligence connection that is just not investigated by the MSM. you can get bits and pieces of the truth leaked out in foreign presses that the american public has been well conditioned to ignore.
lets not forget that the pakistani intelligence chief at the time of 911 mahmoud ahmad wired something like $100K to mohammed atta.[6] another little factoid that is rarely reported in the MSM. the Kean commision report states "funding is of little practical significance". now theres one of the Big Lies. pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.
robert baer is a great writer on the subject, he worked for the CIA something like close to 2 decades and then started writing several books about it. the book led to the movie "syriana" which is pretty intense.
other news: jesse ventura is going to have his conspiracy show out on tv pretty soon.[5] I must admit I would be pretty surprised if it makes it into production & distribution for more than one season. Im rooting for him, but its an uphill battle. hes got a no-nonsense style which I appreciate. lets not forget, he was once governor of Minnesota for 4 years.
one of the more colorful ones. its fun how state governors esp of some of the more fringe states sometimes have a little more flavor to them. maybe he and Palin could team up sometime, eh? now theres a combustible combination.

yeah, humor and 911 just dont seem to mix. that probably started with bill maher, who said shortly after 911 that the terrorists were not "cowards" as everyone was stating, that they were in fact quite brave to sacrifice their lives for a cause by hijacking and ramming planes into buildings. its too bad bill maher has zero tolerance (or maybe negative) for 911 truthers, he's a real natural, and to some degree, one of the 1st members of the group for his ill-advised comment....
acc to wikipedia as of this nanosecond [10]:
ABC decided not to renew Maher's contract for Politically Incorrect in 2002 after he made a controversial on-air remark on September 17, 2001,[8] in which he agreed with guest conservative political commentator Dinesh D'Souza that the 9/11 terrorists were not cowards. He then went on to say, "We have been the cowards lobbing cruise missiles from 2,000 miles away. That's cowardly. Staying in the airplane when it hits the building, say what you want about it, it's not cowardly." Maher later clarified that his comment was not anti-military in any way whatsoever, mentioning his longstanding support for the American military.
yeah-- thats literally so Politically Incorrect that he got fired for saying it.
"lobbing cruise missiles from 2,000 miles away?" how retro man. old school. now, 7 years later, the technology is far improved [wink, wink] and we have Predator Drones for that kind of "wet work", as the CIA diplomatically call it. I wonder if bill has any opinion about those. must say, Ive heard nary a peep from him about that.. I guess the military industrial complex corporatocracy suits owners executives The Man Powers That Be Men in Black got him to see the light.... be reasonable, do it my way...
as he found out, sometimes you're the windshield, and sometimes you're the bug. and if you believe in nanothermite, then theres a symmetry that applies to the terrorists too.... also gives new meaning to the phrase my karma ran over your dogma....
that reminds me of an old joke.. whats the last thing that goes through a bug's head when he crashes onto a windshield?? its ass!!
but, signs that maybe the universe is slowly returning to "normal" (whatever that is-- with homo sapiens(!?), its a dubious concept) after 8 years. here's a funny or die bit that really is dead-on. from College Humor.com, a parody of the 9/11 attacks, where a group of stormtroopers talk about that fateful day the death star exploded....
Stormtroopers reminisce about death star
"you're blind!! you're all a bunch of drones!! you're drones!! especially the drones!!"

more tasteless terrorist humor, if you can stand it. this guy named Jeff Dunham is a ventriloquist whos been around many years. a few years ago he came up with the idea to add a new character, Achmed the Dead Terrorist. this act is one of the most tasteless and revolting Ive ever seen, but yeah, I gotta admit I laughed, and probably some of the other 100M(!) people who have seen it on youtube have too. this is definitely a viral video.
ok, its crazy, but I think its also a way for humans to process their dark side. humor has a mysterious purpose with accademics still arguing over its actual meaning. in this case, its seems to help humanity confront very dark parts of its past & collective unconscious/personality, to borrow Jungian terminology. and achmeds interest in beautiful women and his 70-something virgins does, I admit with trepidation, hit a little close to home. who would have guessed that terrorists are motivated by the same basic feelings as Hugh Hefner....
I cringe at watching this but think it may be part of the healing process for the human race. I am reminded of an image that I will probably never forget, but which I cant find via google after some extended searching.
years ago, I think during the iraq war, a profile was published of a young male suicide terrorist, who detonated his body-mounted bomb, maybe on a vest, and it failed to explode "correctly". it horribly disfigured his body and face.
he agreed to the interview to explain how networks recruit terrorists and try to persuade others not to participate, to explain that he had been deceived and betrayed. the newspaper included a picture of his face in the interview. it was beyond something you would see in a horror movie. it was a real life horror movie. it did seem like war propaganda. but sometimes, truth and propaganda are almost undifferentiable.
I suspect he didnt agree to further interviews or publicity otherwise it would be easier to find this story via google, which seems almost to have disappeared....

here is some more excellent writing on 911 re the terrorist motivation from [4]. the american public has not really been told the truth about "motive" by the terrorists. its part of the cultural-wide denial going on, and official propaganda propagated up to the highest offices, namely bush/cheney.
now, its hard to imagine that an entire population has a "shadow side" but the macrocosm is a reflection of the microcosm. in psychology, jung was the first to talk about the "shadow side", its similar to freuds concept of the subconcious, but with some differences.
the psychologist Reich [disciple of freud] also talked about a society-wide "emotional plague" that infected the populace. I would say 911 and the response to it has some of those qualities.
Rather than mentioning long-held grievances expressed by many Arabs – such as Western intrusion into their region, Washington’s propping up of autocrats who enrich themselves in deals with multinational oil companies, and Israel’s military occupation of Palestinian territory – Bush told the American people that “the terrorists hate our freedoms.”
Former Vice President Dick Cheney reprised that feel-good theme in a speech to the American Enterprise Institute on May 21. Cheney said the terrorists hate “all the things that make us a force for good in the world — for liberty, for human rights, for the rational, peaceful resolution of differences.”
Some observers might have found those qualities strange for Cheney to cite given his role in violating constitutional rights, torturing captives and spreading falsehoods to justify an aggressive war against Iraq.
But Cheney also slipped up in the speech, presumably because he had lost his best speechwriters upon leaving office. He inadvertently acknowledged the Israeli albatross hanging around the neck of U.S. policy in the Middle East.
“They [terrorists] have never lacked for grievances against the United States. Our belief in freedom of speech and religion … our belief in equal rights for women … our support for Israel… — these are the true sources of resentment,” Cheney said.
borrowing further from psychology terminology, I would go further and argue that societal-wide passivity and unwillingness to confront legitimate anger against US policy, supine/unchallenged paying of oppressive Warmachine taxes, blithe unquestioning of the ulterior motives/connections of our govt agencies [and some of the mafia-like criminals that infest some of them], all make the public a silent/hidden accomplice/"enabler" to terrorism.
of course this is close to the discredited Ward Churchill line of thinking. done in by pretty much the same lynch mob that victoriously crucified Van Jones, who folded like wet cardboard at the first sign of controversy over 911 truth. what a namby pamby. I wonder what happened to those two? they've probably been reduced to disheveled vagrants panhandling for dimes on the street somewhere.
ok, yeah, sorry to be so cynical. I guess I really do have some things to be thankful for this thanksgiving. Im thankful nobody of any real importance or clout reads my blog =)

ps since I need so little encouragement, Im gonna put up another video that I should have put in the post to begin with.. its stormtroopers arguing over the death star.. perfect for you.. stay tuned
all the pieces are "out there" but very few are willing to put them together, to connect the dots. gibson said, "the future is already here, its just not evenly distributed". the same goes for the Truth....
