I Didn't Know

Rate: 20 Flag

I didn't know

I presented you with a

surface, unmarred, yours

to scale.

I felt your touch an inch deep.

I didn’t know

it alone could melt

my skin down to the bone.

When you urged my

legs apart, I didn’t know

you saw my soul, distilled.

When you kissed me, I didn’t know

your tongue heard the unsaid words

in my mouth

and told me the secrets you wanted me to

whisper back.

I didn't know.

I really didn't know.

To bed with me, then.

I didn't know what to say except Rated.
We don't know until we do. And then sometimes - the time has come and gone. ::sigh:: Thus we learn. Beautifully rendered, waking.
very good. I always enjoy your poetry. You didn't let me down.
Beautiful, and pretty Hot!!! Guess I'm off to bed, too! Rated
I know that briefness, that awakening, that longing.

You spoke it perfectly.
now you do ~
and you did something beautiful with the knowing :)
shivering from the sheer power of the images
This poem, like that surface, is sheer.
Steaming with passion! This one proves that OS is not about "vapid dissipation",( to steal a quote). I'll shower now! Rated
Thanks, all.

This one is sort of a big "dammit", but... like Owl says, we don't know until we do.
Beautiful and telling.
