This recession is killing what little money is left once you're fired from your job. One of the first things to go is health insurance.
As people are tightening their belts and looking to stay alive, all bills are reevaluated and things are getting slashed. Starbucks is really hurting since people can no longer afford their $5 a cup addiction. Companies like McDonalds is growing while organic restaurants are dying like flies.
You can always get another job but what you can't get is another body. It is exactly right now that you should be safeguarding your body against disease and illness especially since you don't have health insurance.
One of the most important keys to optimal health is for you to look in your pantry. What's inside? What about your refrigerator?
White flour, sugar and processed foods are what is going to send you to the hospital so you're going to have to cut those items quick from your life. Perhaps a recession isn't so bad then if it forces you to eat in and eat healthy.
If you've lost your job then stop falling into the depression mode and kick it into the upgrading mode. It's time to tinker on yourself and make yourself better. Go to the library and read up on quality information packed material. Things that interest you and see if there is a job in there or a company you can start.
Stop watching TV and start exercising during your down moments. Upgrade your physical stamina and quit the boozing.
It is in your darkest hour that your greatest light will shine.
