This is my first year of living alone in a countryside home. As I was abandoned last year on New Year's a neighbour bailed me out after every snow storm. This year however I can't expect such generosity and I have to keep track of how many times the snowplowing service comes to do my driveway... so I decided to make it part of my blog, this way I can track the weather as well as the bill!  I sure hope this is a snow-less winter :)

December 9, 2009 - First snowplow, $20.00. He did my stairs and part of the porch, not as good as I would have, but then what could I expect... of course the municipal plow-truck  came by just after "my man"  left, and I imagine I'll have to take care of the little snow-crust tomorrow morning before leaving... and the snow keeps coming...so far there were about 10 cm (5? in) with 10 more forecasted overnight and 5 tomorrow...
