LINCOLN, Neb. — When it comes to Barack Obama, it’s all Black and White.

A new Chronicles Poll shows that Americans overwhelming approve of President Obama’s White half, while his Black half has approval ratings that rival Sarah Palin’s.

“Hell, I even like Obama’s White half,” said GOP leader Rush Limbaugh. “It’s that Socialist Communist Kenyan Black half of his that’s destroying this nation. And that’s not being racist, just telling it like it is.”

Data gathered from the poll shows that many Americans approve of Obama’s “White” policies – such as Drone-bombing Pakistan, covering up George W. Bush’s torture activities, protecting British Petroleum, and taking the Executive privilege of assassinating anyone he feels like.

Interestingly, however, Americans also approve of what the GOP secretly calls Obama’s “Black” policies, which includes Health Care Reform, Financial Reform, not letting poor people just die, and telling Fox News they are a propaganda non-news outlet.

“I think he’s doing the best I can, and I have respect for him,” said Tim Johnson of Tupelo, Miss. “I just don’t know if I trust half of him.”

Despite enjoying unrivaled support amongst African-Americans and a loyal legion of supporters – who approve of both of the President’s racial sides – the President has seen his overall approval numbers drop to 47 percent recently. In the new poll, his White side had an approval rating of 22 percent.

“This isn’t a racist thing,” said GOP Standout Newt Gingrich. “It’s just that we judge him based on the color of his skin. To say that’s racist is just playing politics.”

The Chronicles surveyed 1,141 people from Oct. 1 to Oct. 5. The poll has a margin of error of plus or minus 2.9 percentage points.
