Missing Panic Button--Now Found (just a funny picture!)

it's been a while since I saw this sign.  It just up and disappeared one day--which really sucks.  But not to worry.  Found it again:

Lately, I feel like there should be one of these on every corner! (Many of my colleagues are freaking out that the school district may let charter schools run 50 new campuses--that along with the gun-toting wack-os at the town halls has sent me straight off to my own little reading retreat.)

Okay: Everyone Panic! Jump up and down! Go crazy--and please...get it out of your system already!

That panic button was in my neighborhood for the Bush years. I've never thought of it as a comment on race--I've thought of it as a comment on the general insanity of our time.
