In the words of Yann Artus-Bertrand:

We are living in exceptional times. Scientists tell us that we have 10 years to change the way we live, avert the depletion of natural resources and the catastrophic evolution of the Earth's climate.

The stakes are high for us and our children. Everyone should take part in the effort, and HOME has been conceived to take a message of mobilization out to every human being.

For this purpose, HOME needs to be free. A patron, the PPR Group, made this possible. EuropaCorp, the distributor, also pledged not to make any profit because Home is a non-profit film.

HOME has been made for you : share it! And act for the planet.

Yann Arthus-Bertrand

INCREDIBLE! Thanks for sharing that ... :)
I thought it was absolutely magnificent and beautiful and meaningful...I'm glad you enjoyed it...
I'm unable to view this on this computer but fully intend to look at it tonight. Thank you for posting it, sweet Word.
John, this is only the trailer for the movie, which in its full length is an hour and a half. I've watched only bits so far, but I, too, plan to sit down and watch the whole thing this weekend...
Incredile - I will be looking for it.

This is magnificent! Where can I see the entire film?
The entire film is available by following the link I entered under the trailer, that is:

Additional information and links to the film now added...
This is really great and I do agree with the the theory but not with the idea that "we" the current people of the world have made the greatest changes to the earth. I beleive this is only true from the perspective of "us" and what we know. I'm pretty sure they felt the same way when our ancestors realized how "fire" could change their diet. I find it rather egotistical to think that "we" have any true control over the evolution of the Earth. I do agree that we have made significant impact and need to change our ways but I'm waiting until (if) we get onto the other side of the Galactic center of the Milky Way before I commit to much time and energy. LOl! I'm still not certain that the little "wobble" from a pole shift is gonna be too healthy for any living things with all the "explosives" buried in the Earth. Maybe we should think about how secure the skyscrapers will be too. The Mayan's speak of an end of a cycle, not the end of the world but perhaps they couldn't see the next 5 cycles (25625 yrs) of humanity cuz we focused on fixing the wrong stuff in the last 20 yrs (1992-2012). Just my thoughts, I could be wrong but I will not stop trying to get people to listen, LOL!!! Is Al Gore the anti-christ????
