hot, slick, bitter, deep
tasting you in me
exploring this
common space
shared by us together

damp, still, salty, spent
fingers intertwined
bridging this
common space
discovered in us together

quiet, solitary, pensive, done
breathing our own rhythms
feeling this
common space
not yet us together.
