Mother, daughter, writer, friend.
Seen more than a bit of the world, but keep returning to the place I feel most at home.
Have owned restaurants, documented software, joined a circus.
Whatever I post here will probably fit into that fairly wide framework.
Place Jacques Cartier is bustling with tourists at this time. I waa in Vieux Montréal just the day before yesterday. Lovely, Wordsmith, congratulations ! ~R
It took me a moment before I noticed the bottom half of pic 3. These are beautifully executed. I love walking through Old Montréal -- it always feels like being transported to another place and time.
jali: I find that quite often b&w photos say even more by stripping away some of the visual noise. The 3rd photo is taken looking up a hill at a rather busy public square with restaurants, street artists, and oodles of F1 Grand Prix tourists. Fusun, Sheila: Thank you! VariousArtists: I have taken many of my favourite photographs in Old Montreal.
JohnB: I did indeed see your post last week. I appreciated its honesty and a clearly different perspective on this place I call home. Juliet: I find that whole area is a constant source of photographic potential... madcelt: Thank you. You are very kind.
