I used to write about random things on OS, the first place I ever wrote publicly. But the political unrest that began in Wisconsin early in 2011, consumed me. My posts here are now all things Wisconsin either through documentational personal posts of the continuing struggle (which only appear on Open Salon) or through cross posts first published on WIvoices.org. I founded that organization in order to feature verbatim interviews with other Wisconsinites. These primary documents bear witness to the times that we live in and return the power to the people - where it belongs. WIvoices.org.

WI Primary Election Results

Rate: 5 Flag

We won this battle.  The real Democrats won against all of the fake Democrats (injected into the race causing confusion and delay) in every single district.  All 6 recall election against Republicans is going through to the general election on Aug. 9.  We need to win at least 3 of those to take our WI back from Gov. Walker and his supporters.

Our district, 10, was the closest and had the highest voter turnout.  It will be close.  We need to keep working hard...keep praying...double our efforts and sprint through the finish line.  We knocked another few hundred doors right up until the polls closed, in some instances reminding people or persuading people to go vote.

For actual numbers, check out JSOnline at http://www.jsonline.com/news/statepolitics/125430333.html

For District 10, Shelly Moore won with 54% of the vote 15,609

compared to Isaac Weix 46% of the vote and 13,190.

I have been waiting for this for a couple of hours. You are one step closer... keep plugging away and know that win or lose you have fought an honest fight for the people of Wisconsin.

Now... how much nefarious activity was seen? Were people asking to see the certifications of the election officials? Did you verify the election officials were divided equally between the parties involved?
Oh and remember that the results remain PRELIMINARY results until certified by the Secretary of State following the State Board of Canvassers certification. Which essentially means the numbers may change a little between now and when they are finally certified.
WoooooooooooHoooooooooo!

w00twoot!
this is so great; I can stress enough how important Wisc. was/is to the morale of the whole country

we are working hard to have a dynamite Labor Day here and raise union awareness
Gov. Walker will be in Hudson this morning...we will great him with a party celebrating our victory....they are bringing party hats and donuts!

Mrs. Raptor - I might need to call you today afterall...I may have broken a story wide open here. The WI Right to Life robocall thingee - I called them and tape a 10 minute interview (they knew they were being taped). THey said some super incriminating things that reak of voter fraud...
http://wivoices.areavoices.com/....no time to do it now - but read my blog on all local papers and the tips my readers gave me and tell me if we have something here....the recording of the robocall and the fact that it DOESN'T say which election....
Great news and great job. How those sleazeballs could run "fake" democrats just goes to show what they will sink to when in office. You should be proud for all you and your family and friends have done. Ever thought of running?
Good good news dear!!!!!
Now why would any group want voters to mail the absentee ballot requests to them when (a) the requests aren't official and (b) even if they were clerks of elections would absolutely NOT accept them if they came all in a big envelope from some group as opposed to from the individual voters?

That absolutely REEKS of election fraud... and I am an EBIL wench... so I'm going to tell you what you need to do when you are out canvassing in the next couple of weeks...

First: go to http://gab.wi.gov/sites/default/files/gab_forms/4/gab_121_application_for_absentee_ballot_revised_06_10125.pdf and download the OFFICIAL absentee ballot application.

Second: Print business cards or mailing labels with the address of the local clerk of the election on them and attach them to copies of the OFFICIAL application.

Third: IF someone mentions they have filled out an application and sent it to the group in question INFORM them of the fact that they will NOT be getting an absentee ballot from that particular group because the applications they sent out were not the OFFICIAL applications *and* they were not sent to the local clerk of the election, GIVE them the REAL application and the address to send it to and ENCOURAGE them to send their OFFICIAL application to the local clerk of the election.

Fourth: WAIT for the "howls of outrage" that are sure to come from the other side.

I said "couple of weeks" for a reason; typically the last day to request absentee ballots is Noon on the Saturday before the election (unless there is an emergency and someone is in the hospital on election day... in which case MOST clerks will bring the ballot and the application to the hospital if they are informed of the necessity of doing so) so there is really no point in handing out applications beyond the Friday before the election.

I have to admit I am dumbfounded after listening to that recording though... I thought I had seen all the sneaky ways that voter fraud could be conducted but THAT is a new low.
Congratulations - and thanks!
