Bio: I used to write about random things on OS, the first place I ever wrote publicly. But the political unrest that began in Wisconsin early in 2011, consumed me. This incredible idea promoted by this guy on YouTube (and introduced to OS by Ardee) forces big corporations to respond to us, rather than the other day around. Taking the advice, I was able to mail 13 pieces of mail today. I got too eager at one point and nearly mailed back a credit union envelope along with it. I recycled that one. Three different credit card companies recieved their "no postage necessary" return envolopes...with nothing in them. I wrote OWS (Occupy Wallstreet) on the inside to clear up any confusion.

ahhhh, that felt good.

I remember doing this in the '70's! Nice to see the kids adopting these olde tyme practices. I think it was unsolicited credit cards or something back then but I really don't remember - I'm too old!

p.s. it was when recycling was rare and eccentric, as I remember and we'd put everything in the envelope that came with it. I doubt they pay by weight, though, which is all that would make that worthwhile.

Yes!!!! It's so easy and they set it up for us so well. I'm glad you are excited about it too. I have started doing this and it feels so good to speak directly to them where it counts - in their pockets!
(They do pay by weight, so yes, it hurts them when you send extra stuff)
