- Bio
- I used to write about random things on OS, the first place I ever wrote publicly. But the political unrest that began in Wisconsin early in 2011, consumed me. My posts here are now all things Wisconsin either through documentational personal posts of the continuing struggle (which only appear on Open Salon) or through cross posts first published on WIvoices.org. I founded that organization in order to feature verbatim interviews with other Wisconsinites. These primary documents bear witness to the times that we live in and return the power to the people - where it belongs. WIvoices.org.

Why I fell in love with Noahvose
I am

I'll see him in a couple of hours but with jobs and kids
...sometimes life gets in the way. Then I

Today is the one year anniversary of my Grandfather’s passing. He was my inspiration for my first post and will be again today. Don’t expect political correctness from this ‘ol vet born in Northern Wisconsin in 1914. Do expect a couple of head scratches and maybe a… Read full post »

The Forgotten: Native Political Prisoner, Leonard Peltier

The case of a Lakota/Anishinabe man, Leonard Peltier, is an embarrassing display of racial injustice in America. As we are promoting human rights and democracy around the world, this Native man has been falsely imprisoned since 1974. To add insult to the injured justice system, the Peltier/… Read full post »
The Owl Told Me (Addendum)

The Owl Told Me
There it was – screeching down on the car. Going 70 mph on I-94 we almost hit the largest owl I had seen in years. Its wingspan had to be nearly five feet because it’s form took up the entire windshield. The owl’s oversized head and shape was unmistakable. Noahvose quickly let… Read full post »
