This is a shout-out to America: Without Israel you would not exist!

Well, you might say, 'Israel was not even founded until 1948.' Wrong. Israel existed, just not as a state among nations. Israel was a nation in exile for almost 2000 years. All Jews are members of Israel, but most do not affiliate themselves with the State of Israel, which if they did, would make them 'Israeli' - a citizen of Medinat Yisrael.

Below I give highlights which illuminate the reason for my shout-out.

The teaching of Moshe (Moses) forms the basis of American law. Read Torah, and you will find my claim is undeniable. John Adams, the president who brought us into the 1800s, thought so, saying, 'The Jews have done more to civilize men than any other nation...' (www.britam.org, 'Jewish Roots of the American Constitution').

Yeshua Messiah (Jesus Christ) not only fulfilled the teaching of Moshe, he validated it. In Matthew 23, Messiah told the crowds, 'The teachers of the law and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat. So you must be careful to do everything they tell you.' (www.biblegateway.com, NIV) Not only did he validate Torah, but he passed the love of it on to his church. In reading American history, we see that the men of the church were the primary shapers of American government. Thanks to a Jew like Jesus.

Haym Salomon, an Israelite from Poland, financed our Revolution in the 1700s (www.nps.gov).

These are just a few pillars which hold up America's obligation to support Israel. We owe Israel our love. It is a labor of love I am talking about. Nothing grievous, but enjoyable and life-sustaining.
