"Fringe" tv show is blowing my mind!

Rate: 12 Flag

I have watched "Fringe" for many years now and it never fails to deliver a mind blowing episode.   The scripts have introduced me to concepts that I could never have imagined myself.

Olivia and Peter are time traveling lovers now.  Walter is still completely insane and a genius too.  The shift in time and space is coming soon and now this week they are caught in a time warp they cant get out of.  They are stuck in a town gone insane and Olivia seems suseptible to the energy vibrations.

It all seems to have started when all the cars stopped and the planes crashed to the ground.  Now they are with a bunch of survivors who seem to have blocked the insanity vibrations by hiding in a big building.  Walter has examined a crazy woman and is trying to figure out why they are all going nuts.

The insane people seem to be seeing other people in different dimensions.  They get angry when people try to tell them their loved ones are dead.  It makes me so scared for our future.  It makes me want to get into survival mode and hide out.  What is in store for us?  Who will you be with in the end?

When Olivia and Peter were making love in a soft blue light at the beginning of the episode I knew it was going to be interesting.  They don't recognize each other in some Times and are lovers in alternate Universes.  They are souls that are crossed and recrossed.

Connections.   Home.  Where are we in the universe?  Are we more than just these bodies?   Someday we will all have to find out the answer to these queations.

Oo Ooo  Someone just screamed in the room next to Oliva and Peter.  They are running to figure out what is happening and find out how to get out.   My mind is blown.  The parallel universes are overlapping and the people caught in the middle are torn apart by the two different lives full of memories and drama merging in one body.   It is very violent.

I've dealt with a room full of Alzheimer patients.  I can see many similarities in Fringe and where I work.    There are frequencies that are haywired there.  We have to keep things calm and yet have fun too.  It is scary.  And yet....it could get lots scarier.

What if the supply trucks stopped running.  What if the laws of phyics break and time and space collapse?  Are we ready for that?  Oh gee.  Forces of nature colliding.  Do you see signs of it around you? I do.

Remember to find the true center of the merger.  The eye of the storm.   Work together as a team to figure things out.  Teamwork in a crisis is interesting.  We have no idea how lucky we are right now.  Chaos is just below the surface.  "Fringe"  seems to just bring these thoughts out in me.  There seems to be hope here but there is horrible violence too.  Guns, blood and bodies.  Are we ready for that?

If you were caught in a time warp what would you do?  I like to know that this tv show is just a script.  It is just some writers sitting around, probably stoned and imagining the end of the world as we know it.  They are showing a dark windy storm that obliterates a whole town.   We have seen end of the world scenarios before.

Here comes the fire department and the FBI.  Thank goodness.  In the "Mist" which was a powerful Stephen King movie, the ending is so hopeful.   The government is the good guys.  Survivors are picking up the pieces of the end of the time warp and moving on.  The crisis is over and the show is back in Walter's lab.

Where is home?  That is the question.  Where is home?  And who really is that person you want to kiss? Olivia kissed Peter at the end of the show but he was surprised because in that reality she is not his girlfriend.  Things are coming together and it is not easy.  I don't think we have any idea how complicated life could get.  "Fringe" helps me imagine a deeper world that what we see everyday.

I love everything that JJ Abrahams does.. BUT we have never watched this eve though a LOST photo is on our front door. Guess we are going to have to try and watch it.

doing the Time Warp..:)

HUGGGGGGGGGGGG
I would want to be with you, Linda. Dancing as the Titanic hits bottom. Scared. Hey. I am scared right now. But really everything looks pretty peaceful here. Hmmmm....wait a minute. What's that?
Looks like we woke up on the same side of our respective beds this morning, Z. :D This piece is very compelling and revealing. I love it.

I'm going to give this a look when I sit down at TV next...
I watched it every time it came on, for the first and second seasons. Then I missed one and then another and now.., well I have quit watching it. Walter is a trip.I'm going to stream it from Neflix one whole weekend and catch up!
I'm a big fan of the show too, zanelle. Walter is one of the best characters on TV, ever. Love him. And I agree, I see the wires criss-crossed, sometimes I feel like I'm living in an alternate universe. Interesting point about Alzheimer's patients, it must feel like that for them too. My mom sometimes asks when she is going home. It's hard to take, but all I can say is, "When you get better."
This was one of the best episodes of the season. The romance between Olivia and Peter was my favorite part of the series (besides all the science geek stuff, which I love), so at the beginning of this season when Peter turned up in a different universe and Olivia not only didn't know him but seemed indifferent toward him and didn't seem to be warming up to him at all, I was quite disappointed. It is definitely getting more interesting now! I will be very interested to see how they explain what's happening. Is Peter's original universe starting to overlap with where he is now?

And is that where premonitions and feelings of deja vu come from? There are so many interesting questions this series brings up...
I’m going to check this out, thanks

I've read books with these alternate universes, alternate times, but so far adding visuals is just too much for me. It does sound like an exciting show!
Scientists say they are seeing the beginning signs of Earth's magnetic polarity shifting...it's happened before several times...global healing signs might be trouble for us as Earth shakes off the too heavy burdens we've thrust on her...
I could never get into Fringe; maybe I'll try again.
I have so never heard of this Fringe tv show. It scares me just to hear you tell about it. Nope. I come unhinged way too easily anyway. No can do. Have fun in alter-world!!! Give me Downton Abbey.
I have been totally addicted to this show since day 1. I love each character especially Olivia and Peter. I loved the one when the two Astrids meet each other. Love, Love, Love it. great review and comments.
